About the role
We are looking for a Fund specialist to support the market Risk team. This role requires an individual with good knowledge in mutual fund and its related state-of-the-art risk framework for funds, knowledge of relevant regulation is a plus, analytical skills and a pro-active and solution orientated mindset. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues in the branches and the head office.
Responsibilities
- Support the risk team in developing and maintaining a robust framework for funds related activities,
- Analyze data with respect to fund performance and risk profile,
- Source required input data and perform required enrichments, data transformation on input data,
- Perform due diligence including financial and operational analysis and industry research on funds investment,
- Support internal and external stakeholder in the creation of reports to Management,
- Monitor guidelines and processes and adjusting those as necessary, carry out analytical activities to identify business requirements and implement them,
- Provide support for applications, including working with IT teams, solving issues and provide documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in finance or related field,
- Experience in the financial industry of at least 2 to 3 years in a similar role,
- Strong knowledge in mutual funds,
- Basic understanding of derivative instruments,
- Experience working with databases, including SQL, Refinitiv, Bloomberg.
Nice to have
- Good knowledge of financial regulations and directives.
