Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring best practices in software development
- Oversee sprint commitments and ensure project milestones are met
- Participate in software architecture design and ensure seamless integration with monitoring and support tools
- Develop new features and maintain existing modules, ensuring scalability and performance
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high-quality technical documentation
- Ensure efficient and effective testing methodologies within the team
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and introduce relevant innovations
- Collaborate with product managers to align development strategies with business goals
- Motivate and support team members, set clear objectives, and facilitate professional growth
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Team Leader in software development
- 5+ years of programming experience, particularly in PHP
- Strong expertise in Symfony (version 5 or later)
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design, MVC implementation, and software architecture
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and unit testing
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Ability to collaborate with remote engineering teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Fluent in English
