Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop high-quality, scalable solutions under tight deadlines to meet the needs of our demanding users
- Tackle challenging production issues when they arise, providing expert 3rd level support to resolve critical problems
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
- Contribute to software architecture and design decisions, ensuring our solutions are robust and scalable
- Enhance and maintain a robust automated test suite, ensuring high test coverage
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, embracing best practices and innovative solution
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Technical Excellence:
Proficiency in building scalable applications with ASP.NET/C#. Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and API development
- Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions
- Curiosity and Eagerness to Learn: Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies, especially in a fast-paced environment
- Collaboration: Experience working in agile teams and a strong desire to collaborate with peers and business stakeholders
- Database Knowledge: Familiarity with both relational and non-relational database systems
- Communication Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with capital markets
- Experience with position-keeping systems like Sophis
- Familiarity with design thinking techniques and iterative sprints
- Experience with messaging systems integration (e.g. RMQ, Kafka)
