Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Monitoring and support
- Production and NON-Production environments
- Deployment executions and working closely with Release Management and Developer teams
- Implementation of new Control-M batch requests
- Implementation of new Monitoring requirements
- Working closely with business projects
- Integration with Terraform / Ansible and DevOps technologies to support new projects (depending on experience)
- Working closely with projects which will be deployed on Cloud platforms
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 2+ years proven experience within an Application Support team function (preferably Finance industry)
- Experienced working with and implementing monitoring tools including Nagios / ElasticSearch
- Experienced supporting java applications running on Unix environments (preferably Ubuntu)
- Experience working with batch management tools like Control-M (BMC)
- Experience working with Terraform / Ansible and DevOps technologies would definitely be a bonus
- You have experience supporting and coordinating BCM exercises
- Handling incidents with Engineers / Database Engineers and Development within a timely manner
- You have had experience supporting Trading environments and leasing with both Trading / Structuring / Sales individuals on a daily basis to resolve
- Production incidents Experience supporting a core position system would be a bonus (preferably Sophis)
- Individual will be expected to work within an on-call rota and support deployment / change weekends
MANDATORY SKILLSET EXPERIENCE
- Experience with deployments / debugging issues
- Experience working with and implementing with Monitoring tools
- Experience working with Batch management tools
- Enthusiastic to learn DevOps and Cloud technologies
