Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity and Crisis Management framework;
  • Conduct and support Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and continuity planning with business and technology stakeholders;
  • Align recovery capabilities with service criticality, leveraging cloud-native, distributed, and hybrid infrastructure common in FinTech environments;
  • Business Continuity testing – Coordinate continuity and disaster recovery exercises across data centers, systems & departments;
  • Provide reporting and recommendations to senior and executive management;
  • Work with internal and external audit to ensure we retain our ISO 22301: 2019 certification and adhere to new regulatory changes;
  • Manage BCM policy and strategy.
  • Third-Party Risk Manager (Stakeholder Oversight)
  • Review and challenge third-party documentation submitted by service owners, including onboarding, renewals, and exit plans / strategies;
  • Assess ICT-related service providers in line with FINMA Circulars and DORA regulations on operational resilience and digital risk;
  • Ensure that due diligence documentation, control evidence, and risk assessments are complete, up-to-date, and compliant with regulation;
  • Collaborate with Business, Information Security, Compliance, Legal, Procurement and Risk in the third-party risk lifecycle;
  • Define and report on Key Risk Indicators.

Requirements:

Required Skills :

  • Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks: FINMA, DORA, ISO 22301, GDPR;
  • Familiarity with IT risk management, cloud-based infrastructures, third-party oversight, and information security fundamentals;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work across business, compliance, and technology units;
  • Hands-on experience with GRC or internal control systems.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Continuity, Risk, Information Security, or Operational Resilience, preferably in FinTech, banking, or financial services;
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
