  • Participate actively in all scrum team activities (for QA assigned to team and for floaters) including daily scrum meeting, spring planning meeting, scrum Slack chats and highlight successes and roadblocks impacting the sprint deadline.
  • Perform feature testing in the web and mobile platforms according to predefined processes, document all findings, write test lists and update ticket statuses and assignees accordingly. Report separate tickets for bugs unrelated to current feature.
  • Write test lists and translate functional requirements and acceptance criteria into clear test cases and add to test case backlog for QA Technical Lead.
  • Perform build verification and regression testing (via sweep and smoke tests) prior to deployments to production servers for web and mobile platforms; escalate critical issues immediately to ensure efficient resolution.
  • Perform performance tests and other tests, as needed.
  • Report all bugs in Jira; document testing results in detail with clear screenshots and explanations for faster resolution, track ticket statuses and report all new bugs encountered.
  • Communicate all roadblocks preventing test completion to ensure an efficient testing process.
  • Participate in recurring QA team meetings, raise issues, ask questions, and share feedback to improve QA processes.
  • Meet with the Product team and attends Product Knowledge Sharing sessions to review projects, release details and gain product knowledge.
  • Update NMI tickets to ensure team efficiency.
  • Adhere to QA processes and procedures and review new and updated documentation in Confluence


  • 5+ years of relevant QA technical experience on enterprise and mobile software solutions;
  • Knowledge of a broad range of software applications and of hardware and networks;
  • Experience creating clear, concise details-oriented test plans/cases;
  • Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications;
  • Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture;
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensuring the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly;
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of software and IT systems;
  • Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication;
  • Highly organized with outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills, including the ability to communicate technical/complex information.
