We are seeking a knowledgeable Technical Consultant with expertise in system design to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing the technical architecture of our platform. You will collaborate closely with the development team and stakeholders to ensure that our platform is built with a robust and efficient system design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to provide guidance and support throughout the implementation phase, ensuring adherence to the system design principles
• Develop comprehensive documentation of the system architecture and design, including diagrams and specifications
• Work closely with the development team and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective system design solutions
• Work may be involved in any of Tradebeyond’s teams – in-house software development or consulting projects
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in system design methodologies and technologies, incorporating them into our platform when applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Consultant or similar role, with a strong emphasis on system design.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, utilizing Spring Boot (Java), PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ActiveMQ, Elasticsearch, and AWS S3 or Azure Blob.
• Experience with data replication and streaming techniques.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, including SOC 2 compliance, network security, host security, and application security.
• Proficiency in utilizing security testing tools such as SAINT exploit tool and vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes and associated tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
